Tennessee Blasting Pros Dry Ice blasting offers a more effective and sustainable alternative for general cleaning than other methods such as abrasive, soda, and sandblasting. Dry ice blasting, also called dry ice cleaning, is an environmentally sustainable cleaning and surface preparation technique. Dry ice blast cleaning machines use recycled solid carbon dioxide (CO2) pellets or MicroParticles, which are blasted at supersonic speeds and sublimate on impact, lifting dirt and contaminants off the underlying substrate.

Dry ice cleaning is non-abrasive, non-conductive, non-toxic, and non-flammable, giving several advantages over other cleaning methods. CO2 blasting is also chemical free, water free, and does not create secondary waste streams. Tennessee Blasting Pros dry ice blasting equipment features unparalleled technology that can be used in a variety of industries and applications.

  • Reduced Downtime  Significantly quicker process leads to increased production time
  • Increased Efficiency  Clean equipment online, while eliminating need for cooldown and disassembly.
  • No Secondary Waste  Dry ice blasting does not produce secondary waste streams, residue or moisture.
  • Non-Abrasive  Dry ice is a soft media that will not harm substrates.
  • Improved part quality and reduced scrap  Cleaner machinery and tooling results in higher quality products.
  • Environmentally Responsible  Does not release harmful gases into the atmosphere. Dry ice is made of reclaimed CO2 and does not add additional CO2 to the atmosphere.
  • Operator Safe  Eliminates need for harsh chemicals and repetitive, manual scrubbing processes. Reduces or eliminates exposure to (and corporate liability from) the use of dangerous chemical cleaning agents and solvents
  • Approved cleaning medium by the EPA, USDA & FDA   Effectively used in AIB and GFSI inspected/certified facilities
  • Non-toxic and non-hazardous  Dry ice is a food grade media and is safe for commercial food processing equipment.
  • Non-conductive  Safe for use in sensitive electrical components and applications

DRY ICE BLAST MOLD AND MILDEW

Mold and Mildew spores exist everywhere in the South East.  What is the difference between mold and mildew?  Mildew refers to certain kinds of mold or fungus. The term mildew is often used generically to refer to mold growth, usually with a flat growth habit. Molds include all species of microscopic fungi that grow in the form of multicellular filaments, called hyphae.

Tennessee Blasting Pros receives many mold and mildew related phone calls.  This can be in wood framing on a house, crawl space, attic, or anywhere where the conditions exist for fungus to grow.   We have the means to remove these fungus spores.  If Tennessee Blasting Pros can access it we can dry ice blast it.  Dry Ice Blasting mold and mildew is safe and effective.  The Dry Ice hits the target,  removes it, and then sublimates leaving little to no waste behind.  The temperature of Dry Ice is around -109 degrees Fahrenheit!   Both the extreme temperature and blasting microscopic particles at high rates of speed make Dry Ice Blasting a very effect method of cleaning.

Many new home construction projects need dry ice blasting.  Sometimes the framing package arrives on site and already has mold and mildew on it.  Framers erect the framing before the home owner realizes the problem.  Once the roof is on Tennessee Blasting Pros can come in and dry ice blast the frame work removing the mold and mildew.  It's important we CO2 blast before anymore work is done by the building contractor.

Let Tennessee Blasting Pros help remove mold, mildew, and fungus from your project.  We have many commercial and residential customers who are very satisfied.  Repeat customers is the norm for Tennessee Blasting Pros.  Call us today!

DRY ICE BLAST SMOKE, FIRE, AND SOOT

Tennessee Blasting Pros has a long tract record of successfully removing smoke, fire, and soot damage from fire damaged buildings.  If we can access it we can blast it.  Smoke and Soot can damage building materials far from the original source of the fire.  It smells and can be hazardous to your health.  Imagine living or doing business in a place that constantly smells like smoke.  This is where Tennessee Blasting Pros comes in.  We are here to help.
Dry Ice Blasting can clean brick, concrete, wood, tile, steel, and most surfaces affected by fire.  Blasting microscopic dry ice particles dislodges and removes smoke and soot damage.  Dry Ice Blasting can greatly diminish, if not completely remove any smell, or look, of smoke damage.
Many of our projects required Tennessee Blasting Pros to use both Dustless Blasting and Dry Ice Blasting on the same job.  We are one of the few companies in America that offer both services.  Our crew is equally trained for both Dry Ice and Dustless Blasting.
If wood is charred or inaccessible you will have to get your contractor to replace it.  In most circumstances Tennessee Blasting Pros works with a renovation contractor.  Our company handles the dry ice blasting portion of the project and your contractor would handle the demolition and rebuild.   Our part of removing fire, smoke, and soot damage is essential.  Let us know how we can be of assistance to you!
